I've entered the Basic Grey Challenge this week, where there is a little sketch to follow. Now I do just love doing sketch challenges, and this one was no exception.
Now what I've done is not exactly a card, it's more of a picture as it doesn't open up. Why, you may ask....well something went wrong when I was scoring the card, and I'm not going to embarrass myself by telling you what, so there!!!

Now I thought I wouldn't give up on it, and carried on. I'm rather pleased with the result. The papers are from the Sultry collection, and I just love those bright bubblegum pinks, and rich chocolate browns. I actually do love this now it's finished, and thought I might turn it into a 'rainy day book.' You know, a book of my favourite images...something I can look at on a rainy day to cheer myself up. A bit like a minibook.
Might post the finished result, if I ever get there.

awww Debbie this is wonderful..great detail on the umbrella hun..and those papers are delish.. I think that your idea of making it into a cover for a rainy day book is a fantastic idea.. what a brilliant way to turn an accident into an masterpiece..way to go. Hugs rachxx

p.s I bought the doilies from a dollar store a few years ago....I see alot of people have little heart ones...so cute!!..keepin' my fingers crossed that the candy gets there soon!!
