A Spoon Full Of Sugar

Hi everyone, and Happy Saturday to you.
I've had a busy couple of days, been to see some craft buddies of mine, Sir Stampalot demonstrator Louise and Stampin' Up demonstrator Bridgette. It was really good to see them, and we chatted for hours. Coffee, cake biscuits, and chat...not bad for a days work...lol. Thanks girls, look forward to seeing you again.
I bought a new mobile phone too. Can't see the numbers on my old one, and the buttons are getting too fiddly. Guess it's age creeping up on me. Anyway, I bought a touch-screen LG one. Really nice, lovely big screen, a keypad I can see, they only thing wrong is I don't know how to bloomin' well use it. Why do they make them so complicated!!! I'm having to take lessons from my two youngest. Now that is a role reversal lol...
I'm also in the process of making my son's wedding invitations, only 75 to make phew...I'd better get on with it if I want to take it up professionally, no moaning.
Anyway before I carry on with them, I took some light relief and made a card for the challenge over at A Spoon Full Of Sugar. The theme this week is blue and green. Not colours I use much together, however, after using some fab papers bought from Sir Stampalot, I think I might use these colours again. Here's my card:

The image came from Funky Kits. Would you believe it I only just ordered it...and a couple more. I think it's gorgeous. I love that dripping ice-cream, and the hopeful puppy. I coloured with Copic's, and used my new Nestie labels to cut the mats. Added some buttons and other bits and bobs, a couple of punched out scrolls, and a hand written tag to finish off. I think it's a real summery card.

I've taken delivery of some other new stamps, and can't wait to ink them up. So keep watching and you might get to see what else I bought. Now...where did I put those wedding invitations....

Debbie, I love this card. You did a great job on this challenge .. and I love how you used little jewels and buttons to add more "green & blue". Keep on stampin' on.
