Well my morning shopping for wedding outfits proved fruitless I'm sorry to say. Everything just looked horrible on me. I looked fat and frumpy, and came back on a real downer. Even if I go on a diet now, I'm unlikely to lose enouth to make the difference I want to see, boo hoo...
I got stuck in to the Sketch Saturday challenge when I got back to cheer myself up. Here's what I did.
I chose this fabulous image from Pink Gem. I love this little fairy leaping the toadstool. It's such a fun image don't you think?I chose Crate Papers this time. I just love those bright colours. My image is coloured with Copic markers as always. I did a little doodling with a white gel pen and added some 'fairy dust' to the fairy wings. The text was made from a cuttlebug embossing folder. I cut out one of the words, and sanded the top off to show the letters more clearly. I think it works a treat, and just goes with the image.
The butterflies are from a Martha Stewart punch, and the flowers Prima, however the little sunflowers were bought from John Lewis.

I love this card...and it's cheered me up.
Take care

Such a pretty card, love her sparkly wings! Try not to be so hard on yourself re the wedding outfits!
Sorry to hear about your disappointing shopping trip. Experienced much the same thing on Sat myself, trying to find my mum some shoes to fit her (that she likes!!) Talk about exasperating!
But no wonder your lovely card cheered you up.. It would me, too!
Great idea on the Cuttlebug word. Genius!
Hope you solve your wedding outfit dilemma!
Hugs,
Chris xx
