Hi there, and Happy Wednesday.
I'ts time for the Truly Scrumptious challenge again. This week our very talented Dawn has designed the sketch, and set the theme as Dots, Spots and Circles. So come on let's see all things round on your creations. We have some very generous prizes from Crafty Indivduals for the winner. Here's my card.
I used papers from Doodlebug, Crate papers and Imaginisce, a real mish mash, but they seemed to work somehow. And they certainly matched the theme. I also used the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder, but used the negative side on my card with a little light blue ckalk rubbed over it.
The butterfly stamp is from Hero Arts, an old set of four I have. I do love my butterflies. I stamped it on acetate with black Stazon and filled the back side with dries clear glue and three shades of Art Institute glitter. I haven't used this technique in ages, and it made a nice change.
You can see the detail more clearly here, when you turn the butterfly over to the right side, all of the stamped detail still shows. It's a simple technique with a stunning result.
Can't wait to see what you come up with. Have fun.
