Hi Everyone, and Happy Wednesday
Well the challenges are well under way at Truly Scrumptious now, and everyone seems to be enjoying them so far. So it's time for another. This sketch is from our talented designer Mina who would also like to see lots of flowers on your cards too. Now I absolutely love flowers, so I knew I was going to enjoy this challenge.

I wanted to use one of my gorjuss Girls again, I love them so much. Can't wait for set two to be released for pre-order this week.
I chose a soft blue and yellow colour scheme this time. The papers are a download from Pink Petticoat. I love the design, and they come in so many colours, you'll be able to find one to match almost anything. It's quite a classic design, and I thought it would suit the sketch perfectly. I used the positive and negative images in the same colour tone, and I love the effect. I punched the bottom edges with my Martha Stewart Doily Lace punch which I love. The ovals were cut using Spellbinders Nestabilities of course, I used the scalloped oval to cut a mat for the image.
Here's a closer look at the detail. The flowers were cut using the large EK Success Retro Flower punch. I dabbed the centre with a darker blue ink for definition, covered them with Glossy Accents, and sprinkled with glitter. The smaller flowers were punched with a free punch I got with a magazine some time ago. I also added some sparkly gems to the centres. The dots around the scalloped oval are pearly paint, and the image coloured with Copic's of course.I did decorate the inside of this one, carrying on with the same theme, and more images. I really love this card. It kind of looks like this Gorjuss Girl is looking in the mirror, just to check if she's still 'Gorjuss'
I left the blank oval inside to write a greeting, and this time used the little cat, and some more scallop punched edges. Hope you like it. Please leave me a commet if you have the time. Thanks for looking.

This is amazing, love love love those flowers hun, they are magic. the whole card is beautiful, great choice of papers and colours.
I think that i may have cheated a bit as i haven't added any extra flowers to my card, as the background papers had them all over it.. :P is that cheating?
