Sweet As Sugar

There's a challenge over at Sukkersott (Sweet As Sugar) this week to make a folder card. The instructions are very clear and easy to follow, even though they are in Norwegian, because the accompanying photo's are so clear.

I loved this challenge, as it was to make something different, but not to difficult to make. In fact it should suit all levels, and you could make it more complicated and intricate if you wanted, it's up to you. The design team have come up with some very inventive designs.

I have used papers by Bo Bunny for the main part, and smaller pieces of Basic Grey for interest, and toning colours.

I decided to make the card for my Sister, who lives in Hampshire, as I don't see much of her, and wanted to do something really special.

Her birthday's not until January, but such is the design that I can add to it if I want, by slipping in another tag. So it could be a long term project if you wanted it to be. Easy isn't it?

You could even put photo's in, letters, tickets, money and many more things. So it can be a gift, as well as a card. I'll definately be making more of these in the future.
