This week at the Sarah Kay Challenge blog the theme is purple and green, mmmm delicious.
I love the Sarah Kay images, and have used this one before because I love it so much. It just evokes memories of summertime childhood for me, aahhh.
I like to do different cards from time to time, and this one is a kind of concertina card with a difference. It's turned on it's side so the fold is at the top, with another fold nearer the bottom. I love this shape, it's so versatile, and adds a different dimension.
As promised I have included a couple of crochet flowers...and I hope you are all suitably impressed. I also added a little lace to keep things really feminine, and a touch of ribbon to the large flower. I'm really pleased with this card. It turned out just the way I wanted it to.
.................
One last thing. you remember that gorgeous Rowan Cotton Glace yarn that I was so pleased with. Well...Daisy my 'ADORABLE' Shih Tzu, thought she would give me a helping paw with it.....
AAARRRGGGGGHHHHHH
I so needed that!!!!
