Blog Candy Challenge

Hi All

Here's a challenge for you all, since I know you love them so much.

I'm celebrating reaching 5,000 hits, all be it a little late, I wanted to reach it before my birthday last month, but that came and went, and I didn't get there sigh. I seem to get a fair few visitors, but I don't get that many comments.

Thanks to my regular visitors...you know who you are, who do leave me comments. The feedback is so worthwhile, and spurs me on.

Now I thought just to make myself feel a little better I'd give you all the chance to see what I'm all about, (and leave a comment), and go into the draw at the same time.

Fast forward to today, I have now passed my goal, so here goes. I'm offering this cute Sarah Kay stamp, (as I bought two for this very purpose) The Joy Of Giving, as we are approaching the joyous season of good will.

************

To be in with a chance of winning the rules are:
Make a Christmas card using my sketch below.

Tell me what's on your Christmas list this year.

And spread the word about my candy.
Closing date Midnight GMT December 1st 2008

Here's my card based on the sketch...but of course I can't enter my own draw.
And what's on my Christmas list this year???
A Cannon SLR didital camera, and a lap top.
Don't think I'll be that lucky though.

You don't have to use snowflakes, you can use any embelishment, image and text you like. There are no restrictions...just make it Christmassy, and use the sketch. I can't wait to see what you come up with, and what's on your list for Santa. My in-box is ready and waiting. Good Luck.

Thanks for visiting.

I have seen so many card fundis out there using the stamp and I just adore it. Its got so much character and movement. So, I just have to make sure that I am in with a chance to win it. Will give your sketch a go and let you know once I have managed it. Hugs from Desire
PS: Just curious by when do we need to have our creation done to stand a chance?

Hi Debbie. Love your blog! I know what you mean about people visiting but not leaving comments. I have very little on my blog but I've been told by friends that for some reason they can't post! I have to re-register with Blogger EVERYTIME I leave a comment, so don't worry- I'm sure that it must be a techie problem!

Wow Debbie, this is a gorgeous stamp. Thanks for a chance to win. I have no Sarah Kay stamps and have been a Sarah Kay fan all my life. I'm sorry I haven't discovered your blog earlier, I would've left you comments, because I really, really love your cards. I don't get many comments either, but I'm such an amteur and my cards are not as pretty as yours, I'm new to stamping and cardmaking.
I love your sketch and will return with a card.

Hi, Debbie! I made a card. Congratulations on the hits! On my wish list are more rubber stamps (as I'm a new stamper and have only few) and especially a Sarah Kay stamp(and this is really not because your blog candy is a Sarah Kay stamp. I don't think I can win, anyway here's my simple card
Have a great day :)

Love your take on the sketch Debbie and loved making my card HERE for your challenge.
Congratulations Peton your 5,000 hits. (I DOES take a long time to build up comments, doesn't it).
Now what I would like for Christmas is... a slave to tidy my craft room after I've made a card. It always loks like an explosion in a matress factory after even the smallest card!! Oh well, I can dream.
Love your blog!

Hi Debbie, I was blog hopping this morning looking for a sketch for my parent's xmas card and somehow I landed on your blog. I love this sketch and Sarah Kay Stamps so just had to use it. (I loved it so much I made 2 cards lol). Congratulations on your 5000 hits as well, it will be a while before I get that many. Top of my christmas list this year will be a new trimmer with replaceable blades. The one I have at the moment is now so blunt it won't cut through anything and I have looked everywhere for replacement blades with no success. I have linked to you on my blog. Best wishes and Happy Crafting. Debs xx

Hi Debbie! Congrats on making it to 5,000 blog hits! You're blog is really wonderful! I really liked the sketch you provided. Here is my entry:

http://mmedesigns.blogspot.com/2008/11/merry-little-christmas.html

My Christmas list consists of stamps, stamps, and more stamps, copic markers, and nestabilities. I would love a new digital camera like you have on your list, but I just can't justify it since my old one still works just fine. A girl can dream though, right?
